Linux IT Administrator (f/m/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Administration, maintenance and optimisation of our Linux server environment, with a clear focus on Ubuntu Server and clients
- Overseeing the orchestration of patch management and deployment
- Conception, expansion and maintenance of our system-wide monitoring to identify bottlenecks and errors before they occur
- Optimisation of recurring tasks through scripting (e.g. Bash or Python) or configuration management tools
- Analysis of system messages, resolving malfunctions at first-level support and ensuring high system availabilit
Your Profile
- Completed IT training: (e.g. IT specialist for system integration), a comparable degree or relevant professional experience
- Linux expertise: In-depth administrative knowledge of Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu (Debian derivatives)
- Practical experience in automated lifecycle and patch management
- Monitoring-know-how
- A structured, analytical approach to work and a willingness to take responsibility for critical systems
- Good written and spoken German and Englis
